Overview

NineLetters is a word game. The app does not require an account, and the core game does not ask you to provide your name, email address, or contact details.

Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores gameplay preferences locally, including whether two-letter words are disabled and whether an ad-free purchase has been unlocked. The dictionary used for word validation is stored on your device for fast lookup.

Advertising and Consent

NineLetters uses Google Mobile Ads, with Unity Ads available through Google AdMob mediation. These advertising partners may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate location, app interaction data, and diagnostics to provide, measure, and improve ads.

Where required, the app may show a consent form or the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt before using data for personalized advertising or tracking. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.

Purchases

NineLetters offers a one-time ad-free upgrade through Apple StoreKit. Purchase processing is handled by Apple. The app stores only the local entitlement state needed to remove ads and restore the purchased experience.

Third-Party Services

The app may use the following third-party services:

These services process data under their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

NineLetters is designed as a general word game and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service used by the app, contact the relevant service provider or Apple support for assistance.

Data Controls

You can limit ad tracking through iOS privacy settings. You can also remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device. Purchases remain associated with your Apple Account and can be restored through the app where available.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated when the app changes, when third-party services change, or when legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page.
