How Dot Connector handles privacy.

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Overview

Dot Connector is a mobile puzzle game. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app. The app is published by the Dot Connector publisher ("we", "us", or "our"). It uses local device storage, optional Apple services, analytics, and advertising services as described below.

Gameplay and device storage

The app stores gameplay progress, completed levels, hint balances, settings, and ad-removal entitlement status on your device so that the game works. This information is not ordinarily sent to our servers. It generally remains on your device until you delete the app or clear its data, subject to your device's backup settings.

Analytics

Where required by applicable law, we use Google Analytics for Firebase only after the app has applied the current consent result. Analytics may include app opens; game mode, board type, level, moves, hints used, completion time, and time-trial results; shop opens; purchase product, result, value, and currency; and ad-placement and delivery results. We do not intentionally send player-entered text, contact information, payment-card data, Apple account information, or advertising identifiers in these analytics events.

Firebase and its supporting services may process technical information, such as app, device, operating-system, network, and analytics identifiers, to provide analytics. Firebase Analytics is configured to be off until the app applies the current consent result, and Firebase's IDFV collection is disabled. Learn more in the Google Privacy Policy.

Advertising and third-party ad partners

Unless you have purchased the app's Remove Ads option, the app may display banner, interstitial, and rewarded advertising. We use Google Mobile Ads / AdMob and may use mediation partners including Unity Ads, Meta Audience Network, and Liftoff / Vungle.

These providers may collect or receive device and advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address or device signals, app and device information, ad requests, advertising delivery and interaction data, and diagnostic information. This information may be used to deliver, measure, limit, secure, troubleshoot, and improve advertising. Whether advertising is personalized depends on your location, consent choices, device settings, and the provider's configuration.

See the Google Privacy Policy, Meta Privacy Policy, Unity Privacy Policy, and Liftoff Privacy Policy for more information. The app may also show a locally bundled house advertisement for another app from us; this does not require a third-party advertising request to display.

Consent, tracking, and privacy choices

Where required by law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app asks for choices concerning advertising and analytics. You can revisit available advertising privacy choices from the app's settings.

The app may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before allowing participating advertising partners to access the advertising identifier for tracking. Declining permission does not prevent you from playing. You can also manage tracking and advertising preferences in iOS Settings. Your choices may not affect information already processed before the choice took effect.

In-app purchases

Purchases, including Remove Ads and hint packs, are processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive or store payment-card details or Apple payment credentials. The app stores the resulting entitlement locally and may check purchase status through Apple so that purchases and restores work correctly. If analytics is enabled as described above, the app also records the purchase event described in the Analytics section.

Apple Game Center

If you choose to sign in to Apple Game Center, the app may submit achievement progress and leaderboard scores to Apple. Game Center is an Apple service governed by Apple's privacy practices. We do not create a separate Dot Connector account from Game Center information.

How information is used and shared

Information is used to provide gameplay, purchases, rewards, Game Center features, analytics, advertising, security, fraud prevention, and technical support for the app. We share information with service providers and partners that provide analytics, advertising, app-store, Game Center, and related services, as described in this policy. These providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live, subject to their privacy practices and applicable transfer safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some disclosures to advertising partners may be considered sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. Where applicable, you can limit this through the app's privacy choices, iOS tracking controls, and the relevant provider controls.

Retention

Local gameplay information remains on your device as described above. Analytics, advertising, purchase, and Game Center information is retained according to our configured retention settings and the applicable provider's policies, unless a longer period is needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to processing of personal information, to withdraw consent, or to make choices about targeted advertising. To make a request or ask a privacy question, use the contact details below. We may need to verify your request and may be unable to identify information held only by an independent provider or only on your device.

Children

Dot Connector is not directed to children in jurisdictions where parental consent is required for the collection of personal information. We do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can review the request and take appropriate action.

Security and changes to this policy

We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the information we handle, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We may update this policy as the app or our data practices change. The updated version will be posted here with a revised effective date.
